Welcome
Welcome to Henley in Arden Church of England Primary School; a special place where we welcome children and families from all faiths a backgrounds. Our Christian values are at the heart of all we do and we encourage all of our children to learn and live by their example. Our aim is to ensure everyone in our school community is 'Living Life in all its Fullness' (John 10:10).
We have a dedicated team of staff who work collaboratively to provide a wealth of learning and life experiences for all the children who attend our school. In our recent Ofsted inspection in April 2024 it was noted:
Pupils are proud to belong to this truly inclusive school.
There is a real buzz in the classrooms and pupils are enthusiastic learners.
The school has designed a broad curriculum that successfully meets the needs of pupils in mixed-age classes.
The school is determined that pupils with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) are happy and flourish here.
Pupils have positive attitudes to their learning. The expectations for behaviour are clear and staff use a consistent approach to promote and reward good behaviour. This creates a happy environment for pupils to learn in.
As a Thrive school we are committed to the social and emotional development of every child, in partnership with parents, carers and our community. Our personalised curriculum ensures that all children reach their full potential and that children are ready for the next step in their journey. Our dedicated staff encourage independence, personal responsibility and good citizenship, all of which is underpinned by our Christian values and ethos.
We warmly welcome visitors and would encourage you to come and see for yourselves what a wonderful place this is. Please enjoy the short film below which gives you an insight into life at our school.
