Academy Trust and Governing Body

The Governing Body plays an important role in guiding the school strategically in conjunction with the Executive Head Teacher and Leadership team, with a view to providing the best possible education and educational opportunities for all of the pupils.

The Governors at Henley in Arden Church of England Primary School are responsible for:-

  • Monitoring the effective delivery of the National Curriculum;
  • Financial management;
  • Professional advice on the adequacy and deployment of resources within the school;
  • Monitoring the academy’s self-evaluation;
  • Establishing clear priorities and procedures for the effective support of the academy;

The governing body has an additional committee that meet every term.  

Resources and Finance Committee - Victoria Trevor

  • Responsible for monitoring, evaluating and reviewing policy and performance in relation to financial management and compliance with reporting and regulatory requirements. They oversee the staffing structure and payment reviews. They also receive reports from the Responsible Officer and draft the annual budget.

Hi, I’m Victoria Trevor. I’ve lived in Henley for over 10 years and have two children at our school. I am committed to supporting all the children in our school community to live life to the fullest.

I currently govern Safeguarding, Attendance, Finance and am the link governor for Year 5 and 6.

Hello - my name is Emily Phillips. I have lived in Henley in Arden for nearly 10 years and my two children attend this school. I am an Assistant Principal in a Birmingham Secondary School and am passionate about ensuring all children have a positive experience in school and gain the best outcomes.

Hi - my name is Faye and I work in the school office. I love the daily interactions between children and families and like that no 2 days are the same. At home I am Mum to 3 older boys. I have a passion for animals and love horses.

Freedom of Information: Publication Scheme

All public authorities, including schools, are required under the Freedom of Information Act to adopt a publication scheme that has been approved by the Information Commissioner.

There is currently one approved model publication scheme, which has been produced by the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).

Schools must adopt the ICO’s model scheme and make it publicly available.

Schools should publish a guide to information alongside the publication scheme.

The guide should specify:

  • The documents available
  • The format of the documents
  • Any charges made for the information
