We have been involved in World Kindness Day this week, it is celebrated nationally to promote kindness in all its forms. One of the activities was that the children have been keeping an eye out for others who have been kind to them or seen someone be kind. They then wrote them on a tag which was hung on our kindness tree in the entrance hall.
At the end of the week a child from every class went into Henley with Mrs Hopkins to spread a bit of kindness to the community by giving out free bookmarks that the children in Year 5 had made.
‘We walked into Henley and when we saw people we asked if they would like a bookmark, they then went in their pockets for money, but we said no there free and they were very happy to have one’ by Scarlet
Scarlet said ‘I felt proud and happy because they liked the bookmarks and were thankful for what we did.’
