Christmas at Henley

Christmas Tree Festival

St Johns Church is holding the Christmas Tree Festival again this year with the school sewing club making beautiful pompoms and disco balls to decorate the tree. The church is decorated with over 30 trees supplied by local organisation and businesses. The creativity  shown by the participating  organisations work hard to provide eye catching, colourful and beautifully decorated trees which helps create a very special pre- Christmas atmosphere in our lovely Church.

“Adopt a Tree”

As part of the ‘adopt a tree’, where 60 trees along the High Street have been ‘bombed’, the children have been getting crafty decorating milk bottle lids to decorate our tree, which is situated outside ‘The Three Tuns’. The tree will be decorated on Saturday, 2nd December ready for the Christmas Lights switch on.

School Christmas Tree

The school came together on Thursday 30th November to decorate the Christmas tree ready for the Christmas fair.
