With so much to do at school during December, the annual Christmas Fair was held almost as soon as the children had started opening their advent calendars. It was a little different this year, with the PTA inviting stall holders to come into school and sell their wares and it provided the perfect opportunity to purchase some early Christmas presents.
There was something there for everyone, from the pocket money priced toys and very inventive Lego Christmas decorations (from Mr. Field), through to an array of really great gift ideas including beautiful jewellery, gorgeous homemade jams and chutneys (courtesy of Amanda Dale), wonderful chocolates (from Sally at Henley Chocolates) and some fantastic beauty products.
As always, parents and children had been very generous in donating towards the chocolate and bottle tomobola and the Christmas hamper raffle. Both stalls did a roaring trade, there were some absolutely wonderful prizes to be won, including some very generous donations from the stall holders.
The P.T.A. would like to thank everybody who helped make the Christmas Fair such a success, stall holders, teachers, parents and children. Early indications are that we have raised just over £900, so a huge thank you
