£412.25 raised for Charities this Term

Wow! what an achievement in total the school has raised:

£180.45 for Diabetes UK (non-uniform day)

Diabetes UK are the leading charity that cares for, connects with and campaigns on behalf of every person affected by or at risk of diabetes. They provide information, help and peer support, so people with diabetes can manage their condition effectively. They are one of the largest funders of diabetes research in the UK.

£232 for The Children’s Variety Charity

With the inspiration and support from the Bishop family, Year 5 have raised £232 for The Children’s Variety Charity. Well done, Year 5, and a big thank you to all the KS2 children and parents who purchased badges.

A huge thank you to everyone that contributed to these fantastic causes.

Our Charity next term is ‘Send my friend to school’ which brings together thousands of children across the UK to speak up for the right to education, and remind world leaders of their promise that all children should get the chance to go to school.
